• Graduate Research Award Competition - Spring semester
• Poster Awards - on CS Day - late Fall
• International Luncheon - Spring semester
• Graduate Student Organization (GSO) Picnic - the weekend after orientation
• Orientation - the week before classes begin
• Get-together to welcome new grad students and faculty - 2nd or 3rd week of September
• Holiday Party - 1st or 2nd week of December
