Multimedia Software Engineering

The requirements are first specified by describing the scenarios (ppt) (investigated by Aimee and Subrata). The scenarios lead to the IC cards. The scenarios (doc) are at: scenario.htm.

IC cards specification tool developed by Perry and Mark is at: icms/index.php. The IC cards (doc) are specified according to IC Card XML schema (see IC Card example), and IC interactions XML schema (see IC interactions example). The IC cards for unabled patients are described at icCardUnable/icCardUnable.doc.

The IC cards enable the visual specification of an application. It captures the interaction patterns and timing constraints. The interaction patterns lead to relational graph specification of communication protocols, orchestration and choreography. The IC cards can be transformed into active index (ppt) (investigated by Zhoulan) and compiled into codes (investigated by Colin Ihrig). The design of the active index system (doc) is at: ICSystemDesign.htm.

The MKEE visual IC editor is investigated by Lorenzo Sorrentino and Giuseppe Marco Scarfogliero. MKEE uses XML specification for ICs (doc). The transformation of XML specification for IC cards into XML specification for ICs is discussed at icCardMatch/icCardMatch.doc.
