Programmer / Analyst in the working group

PlanView:

As soon as the Programmer / Analyst logon to the HomeView Extranet, an alert tells him that has been allocated to new projects, and an email from the Project Manager conforms that.

He can view the details from his manage portfolio and can attach his own documents and background information to the project. He can access his Time Sheet any time from any where in the world using the web.

He can launch a Board Program to partcipate in a threaded email discussions about the project.

There is a screen within PlanView, thorough which he can even reject the project assignment. And another screen to report the expenses related to the project.

When project is completed he can use the Senior Manager FeatureSet to update his proficiency levels.

No information, whether Staff can simultaneously access the portal or not. But there should have been on.

WebProject:

No Alerts are there. The Programmer / Analyst has to be informed first through email from the Project Manager. Then after logon to the Web Project Portal, there are links that can take him to detailed project information.

Staff can simultaneously view and upgrade status of their task assignments in the My Assignment web page.

Project team members can use simultaneously use the Communicator through they can view their schedule, report actual hours spent on task.

Through PlanTrack or Communicator, Staff can take part in task threaded discussions or add items to the project pinboard.

In Documentsam members can create and edit project web pages so that the other people involved in the project can view.
