The Dexter Hypertext
Model
- was developed during two small
workshops, the first of which was held in 1988 at the Dexter Inn in New Hampshire
(thus the model's name)
- sought to develop a common terminology
for the hypertext field
- is an attempt to capture and formalize
the abstractions common to hypertext systems
