A series of tests were performed, both locally and remotely, to check the performance of the whole system. Some test conditions are:
* the update of the robot, pan & tilt, ultrasound, and mobile video camera state on the web server computer is performed from the host server every 1100 milliseconds
*the update of the robot, pan & tilt and ultrasound sensors state on the client computer is performed from the Java server every 700 milliseconds
*the images from the two video cameras are updated every second
*the location of the robot was consistent for all tests (ie, testing done in same room)
*the web browser used was NetScape
