Dr. Melhem has received the following degrees: BS (Electrical Engineering, 1976) from Cairo University; BS (Mathematics, 1978) from Ein-Shams University, Cairo; MA (Mathematics, 1981), MS (Computer Science, 1981), and PhD (Computer Science, 1983) from the University of Pittsburgh.

Taieb Znati

Dr. Znati obtained the MS (Computer Science) from Purdue University, and the PhD (Computer Science, 1988) from Michigan State University.

Bryan Mills

Bryan Mills is a PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Computer Science. My research interests lie in the broad area of distributed systems with a focus upon resilience in high performance computing.
