Hi,

In class, I mentioned the new CC cluster, RIC. Here is how you can access the edge node.

ssh Pittusername@ric-edge.01.sci.pitt.edu
(It is zero1 not O1).. 

Also, you need to make sure you have enough disq space on Pitt Unix servers.
(You will be notified, that you need to increase your quota if you don't have enough). 

To increase your disk quota, you need to do the following:

- login to my.pitt.edu
- select "Profile" on the top right corner
- select "Manage Your Account" 
- Click on "EMAIL & MESSAGING"  and select UNIX QUOTA
- Request a quota increase

This should increase your quota immediately, if you don't reach your maximum.
