About me

Qun Yu got a PhD degree of Information Science from University of Pittsburgh and her PhD reserach mainly focuses on power manamgement for IP wired networks under the supervision of Prof. Taieb Znati. She also received a Master degree in Computer Science from Purdue University in 2010 and a MA degree in Computer Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2006.

Her research integrates network energy-efficient scheduling strategies, energy- and QoS-aware traffic control and management algorithms and methods to achieve energy minimization under QoS requirements in large-scale networks, and she also is interested in Green Internet, Big data anaylsis, and energy optimization in software-defined networks (SDN) & Internet data center (IDC).
