SBRC 2008 WTR: CFP WTR 2008 - DEADLINE EXTENDED

As usual in workshops, we are extending the submissions deadline to 25th March. So, we´ll all have some extra time to push our students!

WTR 2008 10th Brazilian Workshop on Real-Time and Embedded Systems

WTR 2008 is a forum aimed at the discussion of research and development subjects in real-time computing and embedded systems. Authors are invited to submit papers describing research projects, experimental results and recent developments related to, but not limited, the following topics:

* animation and simulation
* architectures
* communication protocols
* cyber-physical systems
* distributed systems
* energy-efficient systems
* fault-tolerance
* industry applications
* knowledge-based systems
* mobile computing
* modeling, verification and test
* multimedia and QoS support
* power and thermal management
* real-time databases
* real-time middleware systems
* scheduling
* sensor networks
* software engineering
* timing analysis
* ubiquitous computing

WTR 2008 will be held jointly with SBRC, the national Brazilian Computer and Networks Conference (www.sbrc2008.ufrj.br). The workshop will take place in the city of Rio de Janeiro, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Further information can be obtained from the organization secretariat or from the Workshop web site.

Submitted papers must present original previously unpublished work, and should be written in English. Regular papers are up to 8 pages and Work-in-Progress papers are up to 4 pages in the final format. The paper templates will be available through the Workshop web site. To submit papers, authors must go through the JEMS conference management system (submissoes.sbc.org.br). Both types of papers, regular and WiP, will be included in the proceedings, which will be published by the Brazilian Computing Society.

Notification of acceptance: 14th April 2008
Final version: 21st April 2008
