Checkers Tournament
Tournament status: the checkers tournament is finished!
Congratulations to Rakan Alseghayer for winning the 2014 checkers tournament!
Congratulations to runner-up Long Nguyen whose checkers also showed very competitive performance throughout the tournament.

Submission instruction:
- Please archive your work in a .zip or .tar file and name it with your last name followed by your first name.
- Upload your submission to AFS (//afs/cs.pitt.edu/public/incoming/CS2710).
- In case of any issues, email your work directly to TA.
Tournament rules:
- All code should be written in Python 3.
- The participants are only allowed to modify the designated block of code. No external library is allowed.
- It will be a knockout tournament in which you will play ONE game and if you win you'll advance to the next round.
- The tournament will be held on {nickel, neodymium, neptunium}.cs.pitt.edu (check out Tech Staff FAQs for more info).
- One minute is allowed for each move. If your program takes more than one minute for one move, we'll need to make the judgment that your program is lost.
- All games will be recorded in .txt and available on this page.
