Final Papers

Supplementary Material

Papers may be accompanied by the resources (software and/or data) described in the paper, as well as with additional material such as lists of features, sample inputs and outputs for a system, etc. (i.e., things that would appear in an appendix.) As in EMNLP, "the paper should not rely on the supplementary material: while the paper may refer to and cite the supplementary material and the supplementary material will be available to reviewers, they will not be asked to review or even download the supplementary material."

Evaluation Criteria

The papers we have read in class are good models for writing your own papers (particularly the ones that everyone liked; the ones that people didn't like are good examples of what not to do). Here are some examples of what conference reviewers are told to look for in a good paper:

  • Short Paper Review Form
  • NAACL 2015 form
