Final Evaluation

Please follow the submission procedures.

12/7: Ranking will use Total (Unnormalized) scores. Test data will be posted when all projects are in.

Project Reports

Your writeup should both describe your system (the architecture, components, etc.), and contain a discussion evaluating how well the version turned in for the final evaluation performed on Test Set #1 (and if the results are available, Test Set #2). Use the provided programs to compute the # and % correct. The conference papers that we have been reading are good models for your project paper.

12/7: Papers should be NO LONGER THAN 4 pages (excluding references) using ACL conference style files (available at http://www.naaclhlt2012.org/conference/conference.php)

Project Presentations

Each team should prepare a short oral presentation to share the contents of your project report with the rest of the class. You may use the board, handouts, the computer, and/or just your voice, as you see fit.

12/7: If you use the computer, we will be using the classroom desktop, so EMAIL me your presentation by 6am MONDAY to save time in class. Presentations should be 10-12 minutes. I will cut them off at 12 minutes to allow 3 minutes for questions. Remember Monday's class will begin at 9!!!
