Representing Content Structure
Context Specific Meta-data
Meta-data that is specific to a particular learning strategy is called context specific meta-data and is incorporated in the content hierarchy.
For example,
If I design a Learning Experience for a Air-craft driver I would like to put in metadata describing that the particular learning experience has been tailor made for the Air-Craft driver.
Sequencing and navigation
--are the rules that an LMS must follow in order to present a specific learning experience
--rules are expressed within Content Structure and encoded in the organization section of Content Packaging
The content package allows for the Item structures to include a sub-element called prerequisites. This element provides a field that can be used to algorithmically represent the sequences of navigation through a content aggregation
