Kill Bill Volume I

On the screen, Chinese were often played by Japanese actors/actresses. Now the table is turned, and Lucy Liu is now the American/Japanese-played-by-Chinese fusion of the bad girl.
Uma Thurman is the American/Asian fusion of the good girl.
The best scene in the movie is the fight between Uma and Lucy in the Japanese Garden. Lucy said after an exchange "Yuzinbo made good swords!" and slowly fell down and died - the top of her head was cut off. This is from the ancient Chinese story. A robber was executed. The executioner cut his head off with one swing of the sword. As the robber's head was cut off, the head said admiringly, "What a great sword!" (¦n§Ö¤M¡T)
Tarantino even started the movie with a tribute to Shaw Brothers.
