Bruce Lee changed the image of the Chinese.
He attracted many Westerners to the Chinese martial art. Kung-Ku movies became an established genre or subgenre.
Most importantly, he attracted many young would-be directors to Chinse Kongfu movies.
Years later, Tarantino would acknowledge his indebtedness to Kongfu movies (and Japanses Samurai movies) in "Kill Bill".
The table was turned. The cultural landscape was changing rapidly.
