Conferences as Slow Intelligence Systems
The hyphothesis is that the
evolution of conferences can be modelled by
SIS abstract machines.
Each paper(topic) is a problem element. Each session
is an enumeration of some papers(topics).
Wrong papers(topics) will be eliminated.
Special sessions will be the concentration of
right papers(topics) picked by marking.
Different conferences can influence each other
through propagation and adaptation.
We can test the concept on two conference series:
International Conferences on Software Engineering and
Knowledge Engineering
International Conferences on Distributed Multimedia Systems
It would be interesting to introduce customized operators and design algorithms
to detect different cycles.
