Private message confidentiality

Currently, private messages are broadcast to every client and filtered on the client side
Malicious (or even merely curious) user may monitor TCP packets and easily discern the content of private messages
Private messages are also written into transcripts

Users may not be aware they are sending private communications when providing transcripts to others.
