Because of the way Microsoft handles security by tokens, many viruses and trojan horses are created specifically for the Windows platform. Many of these viruses are usually backdoor programs that allows the intruder full access to everything on the system. Also the default account of “administrator” is usually the target of brute force cracking as it is the default account name for administering the operating system.
