This proves that the MICE environment can be used to facilitate the development of alternative user interfaces to other systems.

In this case, instead of the traditional approach of making an interface more graphical and flexible, the interface to the Port Authority web site was made simpler.

By taking out the graphics and additional controls, the interface to the site was made suitable for a mobile interface.

The graphics and redundant controls and information were effectively eliminated (all we need to know when we're on the move is when the next bus is coming).
