Servlets and Interface Technology

Servlets are software programs that reside on an embedded device, allowing anyone to access it from standard browser.

Send-email is another feature of embedded technology. This strategy eliminates the need for a browser to access the device for information. As an example, a printer could automatically send status reports for service on such things as low toner, paper jams, and over temperature conditions.
