Definition: all events are aligned on a time axis (time-line).

One example:

For example, Begin(text)=1, and End(text)=2,

So text is going to last for one second from 1 to 2;

The semantic of this model is self-explained;

This model is mostly used in commercial multimedia tools because of its simplicity.
