Form Controls: deal with display and input of data. Ex- textbox, checkbox.
Data Controls: facilitate connecting and working with a database. Ex-
- Grid: Used to display HTML data in a tabular format.
- Recordset: Used to add information to the database
Multimedia Controls: produce multimedia effects.
- Page/Site Transitions: Produce effects when user enters/exits a page/site.
- Timelines: Trigger different events depending upon time.
