This tool is a specific application instance for an adaptive hypermedia system - the Growing Book. It can automatically add MWAC tags to generate Model-enhanced HTML documents. Currently, it focus on the cis350-style HTML docments(which has an index part and a maintext part).

 There are a lot of things of adaptive media left outside of this course project. But there are some theoretical problems can be considered starting in the future. For example, currently what level and what kind of media types will be included into the presentation by the Growing Book is determined by the user. Although the Growing Book itself has the adaptive ability, it only responses to the users' demand passively. We can consider adding adaptive ability to the Growing Book by abstracting the Growing Book to active generalized objects that has the ability to tell the level and the requirement of the user and the power of user terminals and can automatically adapt the Growing Book documents according that information.
