RDF has the following:

• Independence

  • Anyone can create PropertyTypes

• Interchange

  • RDF is XML so it can be interchanged

• Scalability

  • RDF are simple three-part records (Resource, PropertyType, Value) to make them easy to look things up by (even in large numbers)

• PropertyTypes are Resources

  • So they can have their own properties

• Values can be resources

• Properties can be resources
