RDF Applications

• Currently, Mozilla is using RDF in its Aurora/Sidebar user interface and SmartBrowsing metadata services

  • Aurora is a single UI widget for managing bookmarks, history, search results, file systems, ftp, sitemaps, ... All these "data types" are reflected into the RDF data model
  • SmartBrowsing is a mechanism that allows trusted third party services to supply metadata annotations for the pages you view as you browse around the web
