IC Cards is a good technique in expressing the requirement of a project. However, there are some disadvantages that make this technique not perfect. By implementing the application --- medical image processing: MRI segmentation, and surveying the literature and finding the similar technique --- CRC Cards, I found three disadvantages of IC Cards.
The first one is that IC Cards absent of the functionality to record the message from external user.
The second is that the six color categories is not very useful and often make people hard to choose the appropriate one.
The last one is from the CRC Cards. IC Cards didn't be mention it has the two main characteristics that it can have.
From these analyses, I come up with a better design of IC Cards.
First, increase an item to record external message.
Second, eliminate the six color categories.
The last one, mention the two characteristics of the CRC Cards in the IC Cards to help people understand the requirement of a project better.
