Description: My project has to do with users being able to view their horoscopes at any time of the day. A more personalized approach will be offered when the user has to register and then log on each time they go to this web site. The username, password, and relevant information regarding the users sun sign will be stored into a database. Whenever the user logs in, this information will be retrieved and the user will automatically be viewed his/her daily horoscope.
Since email and cell phones seem to be quite popular and a very big source of communication nowadays, I would also like to extend this service to those devices. So using Web Matrix and its features, the user would have the option of having emails sent to the user which contain their daily horoscope. Also, if the user wishes, messages can be sent to their mobile device which contain their daily horoscope at any time simply by the click of a button.
Additional features include being able to view any additional information regarding the signs and what it says more about their personality. Also, it is possible to update you information at any time, which will be saved immediately to the database. Additionally, the user can view the horoscopes for other signs as well simply by clicking on the different images in the personal page.
