Who are the most influential people in town?
Problem: Need to find who are the most influential people
Context: The new sheriff just arrived in town.
He gets report that the bad guys has already
boarded the train in Phoenix and will arrive
in another eight hours. He must find the
most influential people in town to help
him defend the town.
Constraints: Must solve the problem within
eight hours.
Forces: He observes the following:
(a) A lot of people hang out at the Saloon.
(b) There is a bank across the street.
(c) There is a grocery next to the bank.
(d) The banker, together with his beautiful
daughter, live in a house down the street.
Solution:
(a) The sheriff decides to visit the saloon,
the bank and the grocery and talk to people.
(b) By gathering the information from the
people he talked to, the sheriff will analyze
the information and figure out who are the
most influential people in town.
