            A process includes an integrated configuration management and component library environment to support CBD(Component-based development)

• Production:  Purchased/acquired components, producing components demanded by a solution, or wrapping of legacy assets.
• Management: Quality control, organization, and availability.
• Consumption: Find and use compoments or their specifications.

What do we need from a Component Manager?
