Class Room Discussion

Discuss the sort of product that would be an ideal application for the (a) waterfall, (b) rapid prototyping, (c) incremental, (d) spiral model, and (e) agile model. For each case one person can present the advantages of a certain model for a certain application, and another person can try to present the disadvantages. (Optional: For each case, discuss whether CMM/CMMI and/or ISO9000/9001 will be necessary and why.)

Examples: Payroll, electronic game, airline reservation, inventory management for the military, total quality management system for a very large company, teleconferencing system, web-based system, social networks, etc.
