About my name:

I was born to South Korean parents in New York City. That gave me dual citizenship in both the U.S. and South Korea and also two distinct names: Wonsun Ahn, my legal name in South Korea, and Daniel Ahn, my legal name in the U.S. My close acquaintances call me Wonsun (pronounced as "one sun") and that's the name I prefer. But some people find it difficult to pronounce and just call me Daniel. I try not to give them a hard time.
