Information About Project Progress Reports
The progress report should be 2-4 pages and should describe your
progess in addressing each task and deliverable mentioned in your
proposal. Have you synthesized all the background literature?
Collected or annotated any data? Developed any code? Run any
classification experiments? Etc.
- For each task that should have been completed according to your initial
schedule, indicate what progress you have made. Don't just say that a
task is "done", but also indicate what you have learned in the
process. If you are ahead of schedule, indicate which other tasks have
been completed. If you have fallen behind, explain why.
-
Describe your plan to finish. If revisions are needed
to your task list, your deliverable list, and/or your schedule, identify them here.
Note that a well written progress report will serve as a good starting point for your final paper.
