About

Hi! My name is Lingjia Deng. I am a second-year PhD student in Intelligent System Program at University of Pittsburgh since Fall 2011. Currently I'm working with Dr. Jan Wiebe.

Prior to coming to U Pitt, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications (BUPT), in June 2011.

Research

My research interests include Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning, especially focusing on opinion mining and sentiment analysis. I am focusing on the applications of Opinion Mining and Sentiment Analysis. Currently I am interested in modeling document as graph and implementing inferences on it, in order to analyze implicit opinions throughout a document.
