About Me

I am a fourth year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science, working in the Advanced Data Management Technologies Laboratory. My advisors are Dr. Panos K. Chrysanthis and Dr. Alexandros Labrinidis. My research interests include workflow systems, e-commerce, virtual enterprise technology, mobile devices, location- and context-aware computing, and crisis management.

I received my M.Sc. in Computer Science here at the University of Pittsburgh in April 2001 under the direction of Dr. Martha Pollack, who has since gone to the University of Michigan. My undergraduate studies were done at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA, where I earned a B.A. in Mathematics in May 1999. My Advisor was Dr. Charles Redmond.
