PAPER PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS

For each paper assigned to your group, prepare a 25 minute slide
presentation.  You are also free to use the whiteboard to supplement
your presentation.  Given that the whole class will have read the
paper before your presentation, the majority of your talk should focus
on understanding the deeper issues in the paper, rather than just
providing overview.  In addition, each presentation should contain
2--3 discussion questions meant to elicit classroom participation.

Please turn in a copy of your slides to Prof. Lee at least 48 hours
before class so that he has time to discuss the content of your talk
with the group.

DISCUSSION INSTRUCTIONS

Some groups have been assigned to prepare a discussion of two papers
from the reading list.  These groups should prepare 7--10 discussion
questions about the themes embodied by these papers, comparing and
contrasting the approaches/techniques described in these papers, or
the thematic area from which these papers were drawn.  These groups
will then lead a 15--20 minute classroom discussion based on these
questions.

Please turn in your questions to Prof. Lee at least 48 hours before
class so that he has time to discuss them with your group.
